Bert Johnson Enterprises Ltd (“BJE” or “Company”) is Western Canada’s largest foodservice representative and a leading provider of imported foodservice products. Glen Good (COO/General Manager) - Glen has been in the industry for 39 years starting with a sales position at Cassidy’s. Glen then moved on to his own venture for 4 years in CSS Food Equipment and Supplies and then Edmonton Food Equipment for another 9 years. From there Glen moved on to a Senior Marketing / Sales role with BridgeBrand Food Service (which moved its equipment division to Trimen). He also served on the Board of Directors for ESI, the largest foodservice buying group in Canada, elected by the 46 members in the group. Glen’s knowledge of the industry includes management or ownership in large and small communities across Alberta and BC.

Dave Johnson (President/General Sales Manager) - Dave has been in the industry for over 30 years and is well known amoung his peers. Prior to 1977, Dave worked at and managed restaurants within the Keg Restaurant Chain. Since then he has been partnered with his father, Bert Johnson, as a manufacturers representative growing the business in Western Canada. His memberships and achievements include Chef Association, Level II Certified Foodservice Professionals, Dale Carnegie Course and the Food Safety Courses (CFSP).

Bert Johnson (Sales) - Bert has been in the food service industry for 60 years; 17 with a dealer and has occupied positions such as designer, contract sales, Sales Manager and General Manager. He is also a past Director of the Alberta Restaurant Association, as well as a member of the Chefs Association.

Until late 2008, Dave and Bert Johnson ran the company together. In 2008, the ownership group was expanded to include two more veterans of the food service industry - Glen Good and Brian Collins.

Brenda Craig (Sales Support) - has been with the company for more than 20 years and has evolved from receptionist to sales support, having done all aspects of customer service, accounting, sales meeting attendance and foodservice shows. Brenda has also completed the Dale Carnegie course.

John Trudeau (Account Manager) - John has been with BJE based out of Vancouver for over 10 years covering the British Columbia territory. He has a vast knowledge of the food service industry having worked with Cassidy’s for many years in sales. John currently holds the CPMR and CFSP certificates.

Sandro Salvador (Account Manager) - Sandro has been with BJE, based out of Edmonton, for more than 5 years covering Northern Alberta. Sandro is a product of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technologies’ Business and Marketing program in 1985. Sandro has foodservice industry experience from his time with CondonBarr both as a salesperson and as sales manager. Sandro has expanded his horizons over the years by attending the Dale Carnegie Sales and Leadership Training courses as well as the Food Sanitation and Hygiene program.

Heather Hurren (Finance) - Heather has been with BJE off and on for more than 10 years (she worked with a major grocery chain for a time in the middle). Heather handles all of the accounting as well as most of the warehouse parts management for Calgary and Edmonton.

Cindy Trudeau (Sales Support) - Cindy has been with BJE for the better part of 8 years and provides sales support for John Trudeau out of Vancouver.

Bill Bateman (Marketing) - Bill joined BJE in the fall of 2007 in the role of Communications and IT. The position has since evolved into a marketing and sales support role. Bill has been involved in the technology and computer aspects since he was a teenager. Before coming to BJE Bill worked as a software developer in the mission critical medical industry for more than 10 years. He is a graphic artist and handles all of our printing, internet and other marketing needs. Bill also handles our limited internal technology needs.
